We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Newark, NY. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in the intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid New York RN license in hand.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ICU RN.
  • Charge experience is highly preferred.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
  • Weekend work is required every other weekend.
  • Floating to other units may be required.
  • First-time travelers may be considered; locals must be outside a 75-mile radius.
