Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3 years of ICU nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates with 2+ years may be reviewed
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience managing critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Ability to work every other weekend and occasional holidays
• Comfort with floating within scope to support unit needs
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, adaptability, and patient-focused care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside care to ICU patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor patient status, interpret trends, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, cardiac drips, and advanced critical care therapies
• Support patients requiring CRRT, IABP, EVD, and other specialized critical care equipment as needed
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, high-quality care
• Care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations
• Float within scope to IMC when needed to help support patient care demands
• Follow unit protocols, infection prevention standards, and best practices in critical care nursing
