Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift critical care position requiring WI or compact license and prior ICU experience.

Details

  • Work in the Critical Care-ICU unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
  • Contract lengths from 13 to 26 weeks accepted
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
  • May float within skill set to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU
  • May receive Med/Surg or IMC patient assignments if needed
  • May be required to float onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active WI RN license or compact license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Travel assignment experience required
  • Current license and primary source verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients, with potential float assignments to other units based on skill set
  • Must reside within the facility's defined radius for standard travel pay rate; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
  • Candidates should discuss contract extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
