Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to provide care for critically ill patients in a combined CCU/PCU environment
• Comfort with titrating IV drips such as Levophed, insulin, dopamine, and heparin
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm strip interpretation
• Ability to float to Med-Surg if needed; Emergency Room experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU, CCU, and PCU patients
• Monitor and assess patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory distress, DKA, and withdrawal-related conditions
• Titrate IV drips safely and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Work alongside nurse aides and monitor techs to support efficient unit operations
• Interpret telemetry strips and maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner
• Support safe patient flow and assist with additional unit needs as assigned
