Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 2:1 patient ratio. Float rotation to ICU overflow and PCU/Telemetry units as needed. Weekend coverage required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.

• Diverse patient population including cardiovascular, multi-trauma, stroke, STEMI, motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic cases
• Advanced critical care including CABG/valve procedures, IABP, CRRT, sepsis management, and surgical intensive care
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with free parking and supportive, fast-paced team environment

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Strong neuro ICU experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and LA City Fire Card
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and post-cardiac surgery care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
