Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient critical care experience and Epic proficiency for a day-shift assignment requiring a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital
• Day shift schedule from 0645-1915
• Every other weekend required per unit need
• 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years acute inpatient ICU RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
• Supervises and mentors licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Provides patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
