Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Cape Coral, FL. This contract position is perfect for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation.
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Emergency Department (ED) Hold area as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Degree accreditation must be included in the profile or at least 5 years of nursing experience.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Must comply with a radius rule of 50 miles from permanent address.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO will be approved post-submission.

Culture is very important in this facility. Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff. A hard document deadline is set for the Monday prior to the start date, with no exceptions for pending documents.
