**Exciting Opportunity for a Med Surg ICU RN - Nights!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** 7301 Rogers Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72903 - **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Specialty:** ICU/ CVICU/ Surgical/ Neuro – Mixed Unit - **Shift:** Night - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** No - **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - NIHSS - **Years of Experience:** 2+ years - **Float Requirements:** Med Surg, and Stepdown - **Unit Details:** - **Number of Beds:** 38 - **Patient Ratios:** 2/3: 1 - **Equipment:** CRRT is a plus, vents, hemodynamics - **EMR:** EPIC - **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - Mandatory medication and math competency test for all licensed co-workers providing direct patient care. - Knowledge of actions and side effects of commonly used drugs. - Math regarding correct dosages and IV problems. - Passing grade on the exam: 90% (can be retaken once; failure may result in termination). - **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** - CCRN/ SCRN - Open heart recovery - CRRT - **Type of Patients on Unit:** - Mixed Unit (mostly medical) - Neuro surgery patients - CV surgery patients - **Personality Fit:** Nice people who are team-oriented - **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Black - **Unacceptable Attire:** No hoodies Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
