• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Orientation: 18 hours
• Charting System: Epic
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Float Requirement: May float within scope to Med Surg as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:2-3 preferred and expected
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric ICU patients
• Strong critical care skill set with comfort in high-acuity environments
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on prior ICU experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, stroke, DKA, AKI, SBO, detox, sepsis, and respiratory failure
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation and other critical care procedures as needed
• Care for patients requiring ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and Spacelabs monitoring
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, ports, blood products, IVs, and vasoactive or cardiac drips
• Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and patient status changes to guide timely interventions
• Support infection prevention, isolation precautions, and safe medication administration
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic while maintaining excellent clinical communication
