Job Details:
**Required Experience:** - Minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU experience is required. Experience may be combined but is preferred within one location. **Licensure:** - Must have an active Ohio license or an active compact state license in hand at submission. **Certifications:** - Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. - Required certifications need to be active and in hand at the time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted. **References:** - One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Co-worker references are not accepted. **Additional Requirements:** - COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons. - Flu vaccine is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. - Facility does not accept any license hits or travelers with an open case. - Nicotine Free Requirement is temporarily exempt for Nurses and CSTs. - All other travelers must be nicotine-free, certified by a negative 10-panel + nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start, updated annually. **Extensions and Competency:** - Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required. The client may defer the break on a case-by-case basis. - Annual Hands-On Competency is required for nurses on a continuous contract for a minimum of one year or returning in the subsequent calendar year. **Modules:** - 4 hours of modules are billable; additional time for pre-start modules is non-billable. - Average 6-15 hours of modules are completed pre-start and annually. Modules are recorded via Silkroad.
