Job Details:
**Experience and Skills:** - Minimum of 18 months combined permanent ICU experience required, preferably within one location. - 18 months PERM ICU experience required. - Previous Charge Experience: Not specified. - Patient Ratio Experience: Not specified. - Charting System Experience: Not specified. - Community Hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, Trauma Level II, and Travel Experience: Not specified. **Licensure and Certifications:** - Must have an active Ohio license or an active compact state license in hand. - AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. - Required certifications need to be active and in hand at time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted. - **Important:** Facility does not accept any license hits or BG hits. **References:** - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Co-worker references will not be considered. **Assessments and Other Requirements:** - PBDS Assessment is waived. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Two attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled. - BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but not accepted for an open case. - Nurses and CSTs are exempt from Nicotine-Free Facility Requirements temporarily; all other travelers must pass a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen, required within 12 months of start. - BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. **Additional Compliance and Education Requirements:** - Extensions allowed for 18 months, followed by a 6 month break (may be deferred case by case). - Cleveland Clinic Nursing Education Annual Hands-On Competency required for continuous contract or return in subsequent calendar year. - Pre-start modules required; average 6-15 hours, with first 4 hours billable. - Annual modules are billable up to 4 hours for travelers on continuous contract for a year. **Vaccine Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. - Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
