Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and patient conditions with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Manage arterial and central lines, continuous IV sedation, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Care for ventilated patients, including BiPAP/CPAP management, and perform suctioning (ETT, NT).
• Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and apply isolation precautions/PPE as necessary.
• Independently measure telemetry strips and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• Must possess a valid NY License.
• No background or license hits.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with AllScripts EMR system is preferred.
• COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
