Travel ICU Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
- Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, through January 22, 2027
- Nursing Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Orientation: 16 hours
ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent ICU registered nursing or critical care nursing experience
- Active Ohio RN license or active compact-state RN license in hand
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
- One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
- Successful completion of required background screening, health screening, and onboarding assessments
- Required nursing certifications and RN licensure must be active and available at the time of submission
Travel ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and respond promptly to critical care needs
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to established protocols
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and other indicators of patient stability
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment while maintaining patient safety
- Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families and provide compassionate support throughout the care experience
