Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
• Experience with ventilator management and respiratory therapy collaboration
• Experience managing titratable vasoactive drips
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Comfort working with high-acuity cardiac and ICU patients
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients with complex hemodynamic needs, including vasoactive infusions
• Support ventilated patients in collaboration with respiratory therapy
• Care for post-cath STEMIs, NSTEMIs, direct admits, and medical ICU overflow patients
• Use advanced equipment such as vents, Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Float as assigned during periods of low census
• Deliver compassionate, safe, and evidence-based patient care
