ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Demonstrated competency caring for high-acuity and critically ill patients
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit
• Successful completion of required skills validation, competency testing, and onboarding documentation

ICU Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Manage and document complex patient care, including vital signs, assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and evidence-based critical care environment
