Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the ICU responsible for providing patient care, monitoring vital signs, titrating drips, and reading telemetry strips.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed ICU with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Titrate various drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using GE monitors.
• Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed with similar patient ratios.
• Adhere to weekends and holiday schedule requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license and driver's license (for radius rule verification).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Pass a skills exam during orientation with at least 90%.
• No artificial nails in patient care areas.
