Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor vital signs Manage ventilators, IV drips, and other life-supporting systems Provide direct patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system Float to other units as needed and participate in emergency response protocols Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred Charge nurse experience is a plus Patient Population The ICU services a variety of patient age groups including adolescents (ages 15-17 if adult-like), adults, and geriatrics with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, post-operative recovery, and cardiac complications.
