Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• General Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting
• 12-hour night shifts, varying 7pm-7:30am
• 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Uses Cerner EMR
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the ICU specialty

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
