Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated facility known for its teaching and trauma services. As an ICU RN, you will care for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with a focus on cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Prior travel experience preferred; first-timers not accepted.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred but not required).
• Must be flexible for unit needs, with weekend requirements every other week.
• No on-call requirements.
• Local candidates accepted; compact licenses accepted, but pending licenses are not.
• RTO restrictions: no more than 6 days off.

Facility Highlights:

• Type of Facility: Magnet/Teaching/Level I Trauma Center.
• Total Staffed Beds on Unit: 23.
• Scrub Color: Blue (facility provided as needed or your own solid color).
• Daily onsite parking cost: $15 Days M-F / $4 Sat or Sun all day / $5 Evenings / $4 Nights.
• Offsite parking available at $10/day, with a 10-minute shuttle service operational Monday-Friday from 5 am to 10 pm.
