Assignment Details:

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse - AUTO OFFER!
• Schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s; every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required.
• Patient Ratios: Typical ratio: 1:2-3. Candidates must be willing to float to: Stepdown Unit, Emergency Department, or Medical-Surgical units to care for ICU patients being held.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three years of critical care experience preferred (strong candidates with less experience may be considered).
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions.
• Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions.

Required Skills:

• Strong neuro critical care experience.
• Ventilator management.
• IV drip titration.
• Telemetry monitoring.
• Conscious sedation.
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management.
• Emergency response and critical care management.

Required Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS (American Heart Association only).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Compliance Requirements:

• The facility will not consider candidates with any license or background hits. Please thoroughly review the candidate's history before submission.
• Local RN candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position.

Submission must include:

• Completed Qualivis Cover Sheet.
• Current NURSYS report.
• All requested time off listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet.
