Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Onsite | Occasional floating may be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with patient ratios of 1:1–3 depending on acuity
  • Manage critically ill patients including drip titration and ventilator management
  • Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump
  • Document patient care accurately using MedHost EMR
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in a 10-bed ICU unit

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU / Critical Care nursing experience
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • No on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with balloon pump, Impella, and/or trauma care
  • TNCC certification
  • Familiarity with MedHost EMR
