Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 2:1. Float required to ICU overflow and PCU/Telemetry units in rotation with team members.

• 24-bed ICU plus 12 overflow beds serving cardiovascular, multi-trauma, stroke, STEMI, motor vehicle accidents, and orthopedic patients
• Magnet-designated acute care facility with 377 staffed beds utilizing Epic charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Advanced procedures including CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, bedside cardiac and GI procedures for unstable patients

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Strong neuro ICU experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I experience preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and LA City Fire Card
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
