Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/CCU Adult position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed ICU/CCU Adult unit staffed by 57 team members
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment
• Staffing ratio of 1 RN to 2-3 patients with a charge nurse on each shift, though overflow may increase ratios
• Nurse externs available on the unit to assist staff
• Uses Lenet beds and GE monitors with Meditech EMR
• Performs procedures such as rapid intubation, chest tube and EVD management, and treats LVAD and CRRT patients

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Neuro certification and neuro/trauma experience preferred
• Must be flexible and willing to adjust assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
