**Join Our Dynamic MICU Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Highlights:** - Work in the fast-paced and rewarding MICU, caring for critically ill patients. - Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals committed to excellence. - **Shift Details:** - **Position:** RN-ICU - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week - **Weekend Requirements:** Rotating shifts - **Special Skills/Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience. - **Essential Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - CCRN certification preferred. - **Unit Specifics:** - Assignments based on patient acuity and skills. - Utilize advanced ICU equipment, including but not limited to: - Ventilators - NXStage Dialysis - Arctic Sun for temperature management - GE Cardiac Output Monitor - Documentation through Meditech. - **Floating Policy:** - As needed to meet patient care demands. - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Central line placements - Thoracentesis and dialysis catheter placements - Cardioversions and intubations - All other ICU procedures. - **Dress Code Requirements:** - **Scrub Color:** Royal Blue Scrubs - **Nail Policy:** Clean and healthy; no artificial nails or gel. - **Hair Policy:** Neat and clean; extreme styles or colors not permitted. - Hair must be pulled back if shoulder-length or longer. - **Tattoo Policy:** Body art should be covered where possible. - **Piercing Policy:** Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. - **Attendance Policy:** - Adhere to company-wide attendance policies. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
