Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a GA or compact license and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience for a 12-hour day shift contract.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit (640A) within a hospital setting
• General Medical Surgical ICU patient population
• 12-hour day shifts, schedule varies 7AM-7:30PM
• 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ICU specialty required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Former permanent staff returning as non-local travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
