Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:30 - 19:00), 60 guaranteed hours per two-week period. Weekend coverage required. Floating to telemetry units may be required based on census needs.

Highlights:

• High-acuity Medical Intensive Care Unit at a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total beds
• Standard 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with CNA support on every shift
• Medically complex, critically ill patient population including respiratory failure, mechanical ventilation, cardiac arrest with TTM, multisystem organ failure, CVA post-TPA, ARDS, and DKA
• Exposure to advanced procedures including bedside central and arterial line placements, chest tube insertion, rapid sequence intubation, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and code blue response
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and 2 hours of stroke-specific education annually
• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, hypothermia protocols, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
