Job Title

Travel RN – ICU Float Pool

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within an ICU Float Pool setting, adapting to varying unit needs across the facility
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in accordance with ICU protocols and standards of care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Respond to changes in patient status promptly and initiate appropriate clinical interventions

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Ability to float across ICU units as assigned
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
  • Ability to work night shift hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
  • Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care settings
