Schedule
Nights, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Floating required, with every other weekend commitment.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse to provide critical care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with severe or life-threatening illnesses and injuries while working in a fast-paced environment. This role includes floating between ICU, PCU, and CCU.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU/CCU setting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and drips.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate health records.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with ventilator management and intravenous drips.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems.
