GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Vernal, Utah.
A leading acute-care hospital has been a part of the Uintah Basin since 1941. This facility is a Joint Commission Accredited 39-bed hospital located in the heart of Dinosaur Land in Vernal, Utah. We are proud to have received numerous designations and accreditations that demonstrate our dedication to providing high-quality and safe patient care. The Emergency Room at this facility treats over 14,000 patients a year and is staffed 24-hours a day with a dedicated emergency room physician. The hospital is a designated Level IV Trauma Center, has been designated as a Stroke Receiving Facility by the Utah State Department of Health, is Chest Pain Accredited, and holds a 5-star CMS rating. Orientation is monthly, occurring the 2nd full week of the month from Monday to Thursday. Position Information: • Role: RN • Specialty: ICU • Shift: Nights 18:00-06:00 • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: 24 • Call Requirements: No • Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS • Years of Experience: 2+ • Float Requirements: Yes Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 6 • Patient Ratios: 1-2:1 • Equipment: Linet beds, Zoll defibrillator • EHR: Medhost • Supervisor: Karissa Newman (Director), Amy Bigelow (Supervisor) • Patient Population: Lifespan Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: ICU experience • Personality Fit: Attention to detail, critical thinking • Required Education: Nursing degree • Dress Code: Solid color scrubs; unacceptable attire includes patterned scrubs.
