Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring recent specialty experience and holiday coverage

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital environment
• General medical-surgical ICU patient population
• 12-hour day shifts with schedule varying between 7AM-7:30PM
• 3 shifts per week for a total of 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 13-week contract length
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA
• CCRN and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience within specialty required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• Required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
