Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,610–$1,690
- Assignment Dates: October 19, 2026–January 16, 2027
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
- Shift Hours: Approximately 6:45 a.m.–7:15 p.m.; schedule may vary
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Healthcare Setting: On-site intensive care unit (ICU)
- Holiday Availability: Flexibility to work two major holidays and one minor holiday during the assignment is required
ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of recent intensive care unit (ICU) or critical care nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Strong patient assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced critical care environment
ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, and promptly escalate concerns
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to established protocols
- Manage complex patient care needs, including continuous monitoring and life-support interventions within scope of practice
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate effectively during patient handoffs
- Educate patients and families and support them throughout the critical care experience
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards
