Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

  • Work in an 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU setting
  • Patient population consists of adults over 18 years of age
  • Patient ratio of 4:1
  • Uses IV pumps and ventilators
  • Meditech EMR used
  • Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Weekend rotation required every other weekend
  • Call requirements apply
  • Floating required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AR or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA certifications required)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Required education: RN
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • Must be greater than 60 miles from facility to be considered for travel rate
  • Permanent address cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
