**Join Our Dynamic NVICU Team in Nashville, TN!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - **Unit:** NVICU - **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - **Cost Center:** 677 **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 16 - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1, with adjustments to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing - **Staffing Description:** - Unit secretary available during dayshift - Occasional nurse extern working as tech - **Equipment Utilized:** - Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000 - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule - Schedules created in 4-week increments - Opportunities for self-scheduling - Manager may adjust shifts for balance - **Floating Policy:** - Contract labor floats first; expected to assist in med/surg when needed - **Patient Experience:** - Commitment to providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and families **Hospital Specifics:** - **Required Certifications:** ACLS, BLS **Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have:** - Active RN license - ACLS - BLS - ICU experience - **Advanced Skills:** - Proficient in procedures such as: - Insertion of central lines - Arterial lines - Lumbar punctures - Chest tube insertions - EVD insertions **Dress Code:** - **Required Uniform:** Navy scrubs, tops, and bottoms **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
