Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring critical care experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment.

Details

• 16-bed ICU/CCU unit
• Patient ratios of 2:1, with occasional 3:1 assignments
• Unit staffing includes monitor tech, with additional tech support based on census
• Uses Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Documentation via Meditech
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week scheduling requirement
• Floating required in rotation with core staff
• Central line and dialysis catheter insertion procedures performed on unit

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
