Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring total patient care skills and NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• ICU setting with 31 beds providing total patient care
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift, 7p-7a, every other weekend
• 13-week contract assignment
• No call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No block scheduling
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license
• Current certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS
• 2+ years of ICU nursing experience required
• Total patient care experience in an ICU setting required
• CVT open heart experience preferred
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start

Additional Information

• Provide total patient care to critically ill ICU patients
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
