**Exciting Opportunity for RN in ICU!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** North Richland Hills, TX - **Unit:** ICU (650) - **Classification:** RN-CCU/ICU - **Shift:** 7P-7A - **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week - **Weekend:** Rotating **Special Skills/Experience Required:** - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience - Experience with high acuity patients, including ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG **Unit Specifics:** - **Equipment:** Various modern equipment - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Floating Policy:** May float to other ICUs as needed based on volume and acuity - **Overtime:** Available **Hiring Profile:** **Must Have:** - 2+ years ICU experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification - Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring, ACLS, CPR, and care for ventilated patients, including post-CABG care **Preferred Skills:** - Meditech experience preferred - CVICU experience **Certification Requirements:** - Active Texas RN License (Temp license not accepted) **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Multiple by intensivist **Patient Experience Required:** - Bedside shift report with updates to whiteboard - Rudeness is not tolerated **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Royal Blue for RNs - **Nail Policy:** Clean and healthy, no artificial nails or gel - **Hair:** Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors; should be pulled back if shoulder length or longer - **Beards, Mustaches, and Sideburns:** Clean and neatly trimmed - **Tattoos:** Must be covered whenever possible - **Piercings:** Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Follow floating and attendance policies - Recognition as a Magnet hospital and Beacon award in CVICU - Facility performs heart and other transplant surgeries --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
