Job Details

• Location: Plano, Texas 75075
• Setting: Burn Trauma ICU
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per pay period
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, high-acuity critical care environment
• BSN preferred
• CCRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a Burn Trauma ICU setting
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Assist with and perform key critical care procedures, including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP support
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
• Float as needed to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU units
• Document care accurately in the Meditech EMR
• Support a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality patient care
