Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position provides critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a float pool environment. The role may involve assignments across intensive care units and lower-acuity units based on operational needs.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least one year of experience required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; compact license in hand at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or Trauma Level II experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Patient assignment ratio is 1:2. The position supports adult and geriatric patients and may include assignments across intensive care units or lower-acuity units, including telemetry. Weekend coverage requires a minimum of every other weekend and may exceed that frequency based on unit needs. Availability for three of five major holidays is required. Electronic health record charting experience is required. Assignment dates are 12/01/2026 through 03/02/2027.
