This position involves providing comprehensive critical care nursing to adult patients with complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care in a high-acuity critical care environment.
Job Details
- Position: RN - ICU at the organization.
- Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification, at least 1 year of recent Critical Care (ICU) experience.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Providing care for adult patients with cardiovascular and cardiothoracic concerns, including post-operative cardiac surgery, heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, and cardiogenic shock. Ensuring proper management of hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive infusions. Managing chest tubes, central lines, temporary pacemakers, and transvenous pacing.
- Additional Information: Preference for experience in CTICU, CVICU, CICU, or Cardiac ICU, with knowledge of mechanical circulatory support and post-cardiac catheterization patient care. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting is essential. Must be willing to float to other ICU units if needed.
