Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU nursing experience required
• Experience caring for post-surgical, trauma, and high-acuity critical care patients preferred
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity intensive care unit environment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive team-focused attitude
• Preferred experience: TNCC and prior travel nursing experience in large trauma facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ICU patients with complex and rapidly changing clinical needs
• Monitor and manage patients receiving medication drips, chest tubes, central lines, and advanced support therapies
• Care for trauma, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical critical care patients
• Support high-acuity cases, including patients requiring one-to-one nursing care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and clinical standards
