Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience
• Neuro ICU experience required
• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Comfort using Meditech preferred
• Positive attitude, organized work style, and strong teamwork focus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in a rapid response ICU setting
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, manage drips, and support complex treatment plans
• Assist with procedures and therapies such as central lines, cardioversion, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and balloon pump care
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Support a 1:2 patient ratio in a busy critical care environment
• Follow unit protocols while contributing to a positive, efficient team culture
