The role requires delivering high-quality, efficient care to critically ill patients, with responsibilities including patient assessment, monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details

  • Shift Time: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), and New York State license. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU specialty.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: No block scheduling will be approved. Every other weekend work is required, with no call. Holidays as needed. The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1, depending on acuity. Immediate application for New York State license is necessary upon offer to avoid delays.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates will be screened to the manager if they do not have their New York license in the packet.
