Job Summary:
A Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position at a healthcare organization. This 8-week travel assignment starting on 12/14/2026 involves working in a 10-bed ICU caring for critically ill adult patients, including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis. The nurse will provide care for some pediatric patients and manage acute stroke cases in a hospital certified as a Primary Stroke Center. The shift is 12 hours, nights (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), with every third weekend required.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, working from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of ICU experience, Epic experience, ACLS (American College of Cardiology Leadership Standards) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and AHA (American Heart Association) approved.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospital ICU settings, managing adult and pediatric critical care, and stroke management experience.
  • Additional Information: The position involves caring for critically ill adult patients with complex care needs, including some pediatric cases and stroke patients. The assignment permits local candidates with appropriate experience and certifications. No holiday RTO approval, and a cover sheet is required at submission.
