Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Boston, MA. We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment, specifically in a Medical ICU FLOAT position. This is a travel contract role with guaranteed hours, making it a great opportunity for those looking to advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.

Requirements:

  • Active Massachusetts RN license.
  • CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related work experience in an ICU setting.
  • Ability to float as needed within the Medical ICU.

Please note that all requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission, and no more than three days of RTO will be accepted. Holiday RTO requests will not be approved. Orientation for this position occurs weekly on Mondays, barring holidays.
