Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU position requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and an active NY RN license.

Details

  • Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit setting
  • Day shift schedule, 07:00 to 19:00
  • 13-week assignment length
  • No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

  • Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
  • 2 years of recent ICU experience required in the specialty
  • AHA or RQI certifications required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Minimum of 1 supervisor or manager reference (not a charge nurse) within the past year
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
  • Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
  • Medical exemption only accepted for flu declination, signed by a licensed professional

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care in a surgical and neuroscience ICU setting
  • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
  • More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with makeup shifts required within 6 weeks
  • RTO must be requested at time of consideration
  • Travel pairs are not allowed
