Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a facility offering specialized care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients. This role involves providing advanced patient monitoring and managing complex medical conditions, with a focus on neuro cases. The shift is scheduled for days, with a standard minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CA RN License, BLS certification, ACLS certification, CPI certification, minimum of 2 years of RN ICU experience, ability to handle neuro patient cases, proficiency in comprehensive critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line care, neuro-specific procedures, and complex patient monitoring
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system, charge nurse experience, trauma level II experience, community hospital experience, additional certifications in neuro or trauma care preferred
- Float: May float within the hospital to other units within scope of practice, with a notice of 1.5 hours prior to shift, and shuttle provided if floating is requested
- Additional Information: The role involves collaborative interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams; candidates must complete all onboarding requirements including labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, and provide work history verification covering the last 7 years.
- Submission Requirements: Valid CA RN license uploaded within last 2 weeks, applicable certifications uploaded with expiration dates, two references obtained within the last year, and all compliance documents submitted 10 days prior to start date.
