This position involves providing direct patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting, focusing on critically ill adult and geriatric patients. The role requires managing the care of assigned patients and overseeing the activities of the ancillary staff during night shifts.

Job Details

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Education requirements, degree, location requirements, and experience: 2 years of ICU experience required.
Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Responsibilities include: assessing and planning patient care, implementing interventions, evaluating patient progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Certifications must be current and uploaded with valid expiration dates.
Experience with managing complex ICU patients, including ventilated patients, arterial line management, central line care, and IV sedation, is preferred.
