Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a specialized critical care setting. The ICU Nurse will perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, managing complex cases including multisystem organ failure, ventilator support, and advanced cardiac interventions.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license uploaded within the last 2 weeks; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); at least 2 years of ICU experience; experience with accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, chest tube procedures, ventilator care, blood product administration, and monitoring of multisystem organ failure.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma level I or II unit preferred.
  • Additional Information: The position requires float rotation possibly, with a patient census of 4 adult and geriatric patients per shift. The role involves managing complex medical equipment such as ventilators, IV drips, vasoactive medications, and advanced cardiac monitoring. Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide a 7-year work history verification.
