Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel assignment in Crescent City, California. This position involves providing critical patient care in a high-acuity environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license; at least 2 years of ICU experience; applicable certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, and electronic charting systems such as Epic.
  • Float: Possibility to float to Emergency Room (ER) or Medical/Surgical units; candidate must be comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5.
  • Additional Information: The unit supports adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 4-6 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services. Candidates must complete required onboarding and provide verification of licensure and certifications.
