Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit/Step-Down Rockport, Maine. This position provides care for patients in intensive care and step-down settings on a night shift. The role includes collaboration within the care team, rotating weekend coverage, and potential float support based on operational needs.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; required certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM; 36 hours per week; every other weekend.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Care is provided to intensive care and step-down patients with typical patient ratios of 1:23. Call requirements vary based on unit needs. Solid-color scrubs in any color are required; printed attire is not permitted.
